Remember no man is a failure who has friends.

Me and The Boys

After attending a training class out at SAP in Newtown Square for two days, I was able to arrange for a get-together over dinner and drinks with a few buddies from high school: Roger S., Andy W., Jay McG. and Neville N. Long, long overdue, and a pretty good time was had by all – and looking forward to the next get-together real soon.

As promised, here’s a little ditty penned by Mr. McG. c. 1983; I’m not sure if it has a formal name, but I’ve always called it simply Jay’s Song.

Be forewarned – it’s a big 6.31MB file, brought to you in digital stereo – hey, dude, grab your headphones!

I suspect I will want to thank you as well for the embarrassment that
will no doubt come from my song. I have no recollection of what the hell it
sounded like. Hey, if you’re going to have egg on your face, it might as
well be around the people who know you the best. I’ll just rationalize it
by saying that I was young and needed the money.
