I remember snow. I was reminded today, after a winter mostly filled with mild temperatures and occasional rain, that snow still exists. I used to enjoy snow – skiing throughout New England each winter: Killington in Vermont, Attitash, Bear Peak, Cranmore, Cannon, Waterville Valley in New Hampshire, Sunday River in Maine. Belleayre and Hunter Mountain in New York. These days, my skis taunt me, as they rest in my basement, unused.
Thankfully, I was also reminded that a 9.5HP snowblower still exists in my garage, and it does a wonderful job of removing snow from my driveway. I am OK now with forgetting about snow for the remainder of this winter season, but skis, be warned, next winter I will exact my revenge.
